Service

Word Counter provides free browser-based writing utilities “as is.” Features may change, pause, or discontinue without notice. We do not guarantee uninterrupted availability.

Your content

You retain ownership of text you type or paste. You are responsible for that content and for keeping backups of important work. Client-side tools do not replace proper document storage.

Acceptable use

Do not abuse the service, attempt to disrupt it, scrape it aggressively, or use it for unlawful activity. Stats and estimates (reading time, reading level, platform limits) are informational and may differ from other tools.

Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Word Counter and its operators are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from use of the site, including data loss or missed deadlines.
