Word Counter is designed so core writing tools process your text in your browser. We do not require an account to count words, convert case, or check platform limits.

Text you type

Word counts, keyword analysis, and case conversion run locally on your device. Draft auto-save uses browser local storage. Clearing site data removes saved drafts. We do not receive the content of your editor through these client-side tools.

Contact form

If you email us via the contact page, we receive the message content you choose to send so we can reply. We do not sell contact messages.

Analytics and advertising

We may use privacy-conscious analytics and, after approval, display ads through Google AdSense or similar networks. Those partners may use cookies or similar technologies as described in their policies. You can control cookies through your browser settings and relevant opt-out tools.

Children

Word Counter is a general audience writing utility. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.

Changes

We may update this policy as features evolve. The date at the top of this page will change when we do. Continued use after updates means you accept the revised policy.
